The power of Deepcover. A few Q&A's with chris and jason.

Q: How long ago did you guys start the name Deepcover?
A: its been about 3 years.
Q: Where did you get your inspiration to start Deepcover?
A: its was the hunt for what’s good, it was the fun with being youthful.
Q: How did you guys meet?
A:we met in the tunnels of las vegas.
Q: Do you guys feel comfortable working with the staff/group you have assembled? Why?
A:yes, everyone has a purpose with the same common goal, we create a utopia.
Q: What does Deepcover Mean to you guys?
A: J:its something you been searching for and its there , hunt for quality substance in society. C:it came to me as an out for creativity lost in society. Hearing bullshit from capitalism and it’s a foundation to my creative development.
Q: What differences do you see from Deepcover in the Beginning and Now?
A: expansion, growth, and more musically involved. Everything that we do we label with deepcover.
Q: Have you ever doubted your Ideas? What were some worries?
A: we involved too many people and they fucked up our direction. And we get investors that try switching ideas around. some people were doubting and now it’ll always be a personal project.
Q: Do you still have the same doubts now?
A:no not at all and we have full confidence, fuck everything.
Q: who are some of your influences?
A: FILM, basically, it was my own personal influences.dj shadow and hip hop. Ideas of subcultures. Break dancing and housing and the fashion is what backs it up.
Q: If you guys were traveling, what places would you like to visit to go promote yourselves?
A: Paris, Italy,rome.
Q: What are some goals you guys plan on achieving for 2010?
A: get European exposure, to meet French women, get 2 issues of magazine av-ant harde.
Q: Is there anything you can tell me on your competition in Las Vegas?
A: we don’t pay attention of competition in Las Vegas, hip hop is in a comma.
Q: Do you guys get groupies because of your work?
A: yes, no names doe , hammph!!!! We don’t call them groupies we call them contributors.
Q: what do you consider to be a perfect Party, event, etc?
A: one that’s free, it has fashion, alcohol, great Dj’s, women and music that the crowd wants to hear.C: ice cream. When people can relate to the music.
Q: If you had to invest in something for the entertainment business, what would it be ?
A: C: A film projector, J: a screen printer.
Q: What is the difference from the night visions & Deepcover?
A: there is no difference, Night visions is a collective of DJ’s, it’s the sister company of deep cover. Night visions is instant gratification.
Q: who in Deepcover is the most productive with promotion, ideas, and footwork?
A: it is an equal effort. We both feed and fend each other.
Q: Is there any Music production in the works for Deepcover?
A: its tuff, it’s a working progress.
Q: Electro or Funk?
A:electro and funk, inflagranti.
Q: what were your highlights for this year?
A: deepcover release party, starting night visions, personal growth, getting rid of bad investors.
Q: Describe Your Group and how everyone contributes to the team?
A:wild, generation youth gone wild, push the limit more than our parents. Cream team.
Q: What are a few things that give you guys the drive to keep on moving Forward?
A:C: constant influence, consistent influence, film.
Q: if you can describe Deepcover with one word what would it be?
A: ???
Q: Where do you see yourselves in the next 5 five years if you can visualize a goal?
A: not in the USA, financially independent.
Q: What is you favorite past time hobby besides working the Deepcover Brand?
A: break dancing, music hunting & watch film.
Q: What are some up and coming events, projects, design’s, and music that we will expect from DEEPcover?
A: summer clothing, av-ant harde, getting our dj’s booked for more venues.
